Legal Testing
versus
Informational Testing
Our fully accredited laboratory follows the same high-quality standards when processing both informational and legal (court admissible) tests. The difference between a legal and informational test (non-legal) is the collection process. Legal tests require that a disinterested third party follow the rigorous collection standards developed by the AABB. Informational testing (non- legal) provides peace of mind knowing the collection process was completed by a trained professional and that chain of custody was maintained throughout the entire collection and testing.
Department of Transportation
(DOT)
A department of transportation test is a physical exam that is required of people who drives commercial vehicles. The point of a DOT physical is to make sure that people who are driving commercial, motor vehicles {CMVs), such as large trucks and buses, are physically, mentally, and emotionally fit. The Federal Motor Carrier safety administration (FMCSA) requires this testing for the safety of the public.
